As a member of the National College for DUI Defense, Ms. Landry has been recognized for her zealous representation of those accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. In 1999, Ms. Landry exposed the Orange County Sheriff's Department's inappropriate use of breath testing machines when not properly licensed, which allowed thousands of defendants the opportunity to overturn their DMV license suspensions and to challenge the court convictions. Proper licensing and training remains a key issue in fighting driving under the influence cases in Orange County.
